Most of my spinning is either worsted (all fibers aligned parallel in the direction of the yarn) or a worsted-woolen hybrid where I pull the fibers somewhat into worsted alignment while drafting. This is my first attempt at spinning from carded batts to produce a lofty, truly woolen yarn.
